it's been done with a little more substance before and printed - so a lesser version most likely won't print.

you should probably watch out for the black on black you did here because it really ends up distorting our view of all the crayons and it would have been better if there had been some story ingrained in the design rather than the bare bones of the idea (that's why the other one is so good. it goes a bit beyond the crayon joke and puts them in the context of the movie).

i agree with ginger about the black on black only.

in addition, deeper vectors, different crayon colors, and some kind of organic background pattern (i.e. half-tone, paint splatters, etc.) would do this design a lot of good!

incidentally, the background pattern would clear up the black on black issue--perhaps why my eye wants to see one! :]

i love the idea, but make it look more hand drawn and you've got yourself a deal! i want to see your work, not something anyone could do on paint

@ girllovesveggies: it actually was hand drawn originally. but i scanned it into macromedia freehand and traced everything out that way. but other wise, everyone of those little buggers and that gun were all hand drawn out first. not that it matters, but just thought i'd let you know.
